Maranda and David arrived at the Mexico MTC (Missionary Training Center).

Maranda and David started their missions at the same time and first met each other in Mexico City while learning Spanish.

David reached out to Maranda through an Instagram message, just a week after returning home from his mission. The CCM is the Mexico MTC.

Maranda returns to Utah after her Christmas break and David takes her out on their first date that night.

This is David and Maranda's first official picture together before they went to a BYU basketball game.

Just one week later, David asked Maranda to be his girlfriend.

They both had the day off of school for MLK Jr. Day and so they went truck sledding with David's family.

David brought Maranda to his favorite roller skating rink, knowing she could barely skate! But he was determined to teach her! Somehow, with a lot of patience, by the end of the night, he had pulled off teaching her and she was skating all on her own.

David made the cutest countdown calendar for Maranda. Behind each heart, he wrote one thing that he loves about her. She read one each day leading up to Valentine's Day.

Maranda and David celebrated their 1-month anniversary and Valentine's Day (a couple days late) by attending the temple together for the first time. Afterwards, they had a nice dinner at Tucano's.

David went to Arizona with Maranda for a quick weekend trip to attend her cousin's wedding on March 2nd. The next day, they celebrated David's 21st birthday before flying back to Utah.

Warm weather came just in time to celebrate their 3-month anniversary. Driving in Maranda's Jeep with the top off was the perfect way to enjoy this sunny day.

Maranda's dream came true when David took her on her first ever motorcycle ride. David even let her take it for a spin in his high school parking lot.

David took Maranda to Thanksgiving Point to see the Tulip Festival since tulips are her favorite flower!

David left for summer sales in Michigan to sell pest control door-to-door for Greenix. This was a hard goodbye.

Thank goodness for technology! Daily FaceTime calls are a must!

Due to their crazy, busy schedules with summer sales in Michigan and college volleyball in Utah, Maranda and David jumped on the opportunity to get married during their upcoming summer vacation together in Colorado over the Fourth of July week! Since this was the only week they would be together this summer, and David already had the ring ready, he popped the question over FaceTime, just in time to announce their plans for a July wedding!!
